Optimist

A light and flexible all-round boom which can be used with all masts and sprits. The MK3 40 mm boom for the Optimist is suitable for sailors from 35 to 45 kg.

The newest mast in the Optimax range. The MK3 Medium mast fits perfectly in our existing mast range and is 8% more flexible compared to the MK3 mast and 8% stiffer compared to the MK3 Flex mast.

The MK3 Medium mast for the Optimist is suitable for sailors from 30 to 40 kg.

The most flexible racing sprit creates less distortion of the sail shape and provides an active change of tension on the leech. For the more experienced sailor who can adjust their mainsheet tension constantly.

The MK3 Hyperflex 28 mm sprit for the Optimist is suitable for sailors under 35 kg.

A stiffer 45 mm racing boom which is suitbale for the more experienced, heavier weight sailors. The MK4 45 mm boom for the Optimist is suitable for sailors above 45 kg.

The patented bearing system uses stainless steel balls in a captive grooved race and has a 250 lb (113 kg) maximum working load.
